Records Fees


General Schedule of Charges - Effective January 8th, 2018

Prior to the copying and/or release of requested information, payment must be received, payable to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office in the form of a business check, cashier’s check, money order, or cash. Business check will require the drivers license information of the person that signed the check. As required by Florida law, records may be redacted to remove any confidential or exempt information prior to release.

Certified copy of report $1.00 plus $. 15 per page $1.00 plus fee for mailed copy of report (see above)

Extensive assistance (defined as more than 30 minutes):

  Audio/Video $17.00 per hour
  Supervisor $20.00 per hour
  Crime Scene tech (photos) $18.00 per hour
  Inmate Phone Records request $27.00 per hour

**NOTE:  These fees do not include fee for special service charge as authorized by FSS 119.07 (4)(d), (i.e. when the nature or volume of public records to be inspected or provided is such as to require extensive use of information technology resources, or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance, or both). In those cases where a specific person or position must provide assistance, the hourly rate will be based upon that person’s actual compensation.

* Fingerprint hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and is subject to personnel availability. Fingerprint fee is for Sheriff’s Office fingerprinting service only and does not include fees of any other agency or business (i.e. FDLE, FBI, etc.).
