Inmate Visitation

Rules and Regulations

  • Accommodations are made for two 1-hour visits per inmate per week Visiting hours are Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 8:40 PM by appointment only.
  • All appointments must be made the day before the visit by calling 941-747-3011, Ext 2901, 2902, or 2903, between the hours of 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • Due to limited visiting space, the inmate is limited to three visitors at one time. Visitors under 18 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • Diaper bags are not permitted. One baby bottle and one diaper are allowed.
  • Inmates have the right to refuse any visitor and inmates cannot have visitors until they have been assigned to a permanent housing unit
  • All visitors shall sign in and go through a security check. Visitors must wear the pass issued to them at all times while inside the Corrections Facility. Government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license, military identification, passport or state-issued ID card, must be presented by each adult visitor. Visitors who do not have proper identification will not be permitted to visit.
  • Visitors must remain in the assigned visiting room/area during the visit and will be denied further visitation if they are determined to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Visitors may be subject to a personal search at any time while inside the facility.
  • Visitors must be appropriately dressed. Shoes, shirts and appropriate underclothing must be worn. Visitors wearing suggestive clothing, transparent fabric, short-shorts or mini-skirts will not be permitted to visit.
  • Food items and soft drinks are not allowed past the security doors.
  • NO Personal Possessions are allowed in the visiting area Coin operated lockers are available in the lobby for storing handbags and other materials. Please do not ask the Front Desk clerks to keep items at the Front Desk
  • Possession of illegal substances will result in arrest. Attempting to pass any type of contraband to an inmate will result in arrest.
